Sales Manager – Financial Services (Hybrid)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading savings and investment specialist to find a dynamic Sales Manager for their Orpington office. The role is hybrid, combining office presence with remote work, and focuses on driving sales performance and delivering educational initiatives for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, line‑manage and motivate the sales team and Sales Team Coordinator.
• Schedule and monitor marketing activities, events and campaigns to meet financial and educational targets.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, arranging regular catch‑up meetings to achieve commercial and educational goals.
• Develop, track and report key performance indicators for event delivery and sales performance.
• Foster a positive, innovative team atmosphere that encourages commitment and exceeds objectives.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing a sales‑focused team, preferably within financial services or another highly regulated sector.
• Strong understanding of financial services products and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach and active listening.
• Ability to keep the team motivated, focused and up‑to‑date on relevant events and activities.
• Knowledge of UK policing structures is useful but not essential.
