Sales Manager – Gas & Leak Detection Solutions

About the role

Our client, the UK's market‑leading designer and manufacturer of gas and leak detection equipment, is looking for an ambitious Sales Manager to expand its footprint across the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with retail, industrial and commercial end‑users as well as system integrators and project partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales with existing and new customers.
• Build strong relationships with retail, industrial and commercial end‑users.
• Identify and secure opportunities with system integrators, consultants and contractors.
• Deliver technical and commercial sales presentations.
• Create and execute sales strategies to exceed targets.
• Collaborate with internal technical and support teams to deliver customer solutions.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Proven success in a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Technical Sales role.
• Experience selling technical products or solutions to industrial, commercial or retail sectors.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, commercially focused and results‑driven.
• Experience in gas detection, safety systems, controls, instrumentation, HVAC or related markets is advantageous.
