Sales Manager – Logistics

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Manager to lead territory sales for a fast‑growing family business in the logistics sector, based just outside Bicester. The role is full‑time, permanent and focuses on building long‑lasting relationships with B2B clients that have strong growth potential.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, identify and convert new B2B clients across the UK.
• Target medium to large manufacturers, retailers and online brands.
• Analyse client pain points and deliver bespoke logistics and home‑delivery solutions.
• Prepare tender and contract documentation, and deliver client presentations.
• Manage the full 360° sales cycle, coordinating with operations for smooth implementation.
• Maintain regular client visits to secure business and grow accounts.

Required profile

• Proven track record in logistics or home‑delivery sales.
• Experience working independently in a field‑based role.
• Strong business development, prospecting and lead‑generation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a successful sales team.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building at all organisational levels.

Required skills

• Knowledge of logistics and home‑delivery pricing structures and competitors.
• Expertise in account management and contract negotiation.
• Ability to prepare tenders and write contracts.
• Strategic planning and proactive problem‑solving.
