Sales Manager – Nonprofit & Social Impact (EMEA)

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a Sales Manager to lead its Beneficial Deployments effort across nonprofit, foundation and education organisations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This player‑coach position will combine hands‑on selling of Claude with building and scaling a high‑performing regional sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and close new business with mission‑driven organisations, navigating complex multi‑stakeholder ecosystems.
• Recruit, hire and develop a regional sales team, defining structure, processes and hiring priorities.
• Design sales strategies that align with nonprofit budget cycles, grant timelines and regional regulatory requirements.
• Maintain relationships with key ecosystem players such as Bond, NCVO and European Foundation Centre.
• Provide product feedback on data sovereignty, language support and compliance to inform Anthropic’s roadmap.

Required profile

• 8+ years of B2B sales experience in nonprofit technology, EdTech or social‑impact SaaS, preferably in EMEA.
• Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles and exceeding revenue targets.
• Experience building and scaling sales teams across multiple time zones.
• Deep understanding of nonprofit, INGO and higher‑education procurement processes and GDPR/UK data‑protection requirements.
• Fluent English; French a plus, additional European languages beneficial.
