Sales Manager – Team Leader (Regulated Environment)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead a high‑performing team of eight advisors and support staff. The role combines people‑development, performance management and strict adherence to FCA regulations within a regulated sales environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set clear targets, run daily briefs and visual performance tracking to drive team results.
• Identify under‑performance early and deliver tailored coaching through structured 1:1s and development plans.
• Monitor QA scores, cancellations and complaints, taking proactive action to maintain compliance and quality standards.
• Oversee operational tasks such as holiday approvals, shift swaps and absence management in line with HR policies.
• Ensure accurate handling of client data and efficient lead management to maximise conversion.
• Participate in recruitment activities, including interviews, assessment days and onboarding of new team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sales teams in a regulated environment.
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities with a track record of developing talent.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solver focused on continuous improvement.
• Confidence in managing performance metrics and compliance standards.
