Sales Support Administrator

About the role

Our client, a growing manufacturing supplies business, is looking for a Sales Support Administrator to join their friendly office team in Coulsdon. This role is ideal for a motivated school leaver or an experienced administrator who wants to own the full sales order cycle and develop a long‑term career in a commercial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries and provide professional assistance.
• Prepare quotations and process orders accurately.
• Take ownership of orders from initial enquiry through to final delivery.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, couriers and export companies to provide updates and resolve queries.
• Raise purchase orders with suppliers and coordinate shipments.
• Support the administration of international orders.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product specifications, pricing information and customer records.
• Monitor order progress and follow up any issues promptly.
• Provide occasional administrative support to the accounts team.
• Use internal systems to keep information accurate and assist with general office administration.

Required profile

• Recent school or college leaver or candidate with experience in sales administration, customer service or order processing.
• Genuine interest in learning about the company’s products and the manufacturing supplies sector.
• Positive attitude, pride in delivering quality work and willingness to take responsibility.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Competitive salary of £25,000‑£28,000 per year, dependent on experience.

• Office‑based role with set hours: Mon‑Thu 8:30‑17:00, Fri 8:30‑15:00.
