Sales Support Executive – Part‑time (20 hrs/week)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Sales Support Executive to join a long‑standing, family‑run civil engineering business on the outskirts of Leeds. The role offers 20 hours per week and is ideal for candidates with 1‑2 years of experience who are eager to develop their sales support skills in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with new and existing customers via email, telephone and website.
• Process orders for plant and contractors.
• Update website content and social media platforms.
• Monitor the availability of plant machinery.
• Liaise with contractors and clients throughout projects.
• Maintain and update work orders in the internal CRM system.
• Support the Sales and Account Management teams with enquiries and opportunities.
• Prepare and send emails, letters and confirmation documents.
• Deliver high standards of customer service at all times.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years’ experience in a similar sales support role.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong numerical ability and excellent time‑management skills.
• Comfortable working accurately in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
