About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑paced wholesale and distribution business to find a Sales Team Manager who will lead a high‑performing sales function. You will own the internal sales operation, shape strategy, and drive both revenue growth and exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of sales leaders and executives to maximise performance.
• Develop and implement a clear sales strategy aligned with wider business goals.
• Drive a high‑performance culture focused on exceeding KPIs.
• Oversee day‑to‑day sales operations, ensuring efficiency and best practice.
• Monitor and analyse performance data to identify growth opportunities.
• Enhance customer experience with a customer‑first approach.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, customer service and logistics.
• Manage departmental costs and contribute to overall profitability.
• Implement and optimise systems, tools and processes to improve performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in telesales or a contact‑centre environment.
• Strong track record of driving team performance and achieving sales targets.
• Confident leader able to inspire, coach and develop others.
• Commercially minded with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills
