Sales Team Manager – Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Team Manager to lead and develop a high‑performing sales team in East Grinstead. This hands‑on role combines strategic leadership with active participation in the sales process, ensuring targets are met while fostering a supportive team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and coach a growing sales team to exceed targets.
• Provide ongoing performance management, regular one‑to‑one meetings and training.
• Monitor individual and team KPIs, identify improvement opportunities and report on performance.
• Stay actively involved in sales activities, supporting the team in closing deals.
• Collaborate with senior management to implement sales strategies and achieve business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Sales Team Leader, Sales Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, develop and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication, coaching and motivational skills.
• Results‑driven, proactive and hands‑on approach.

Required skills

• Confidence using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
