Salesforce Technical Architect

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of a regulated Salesforce platform serving both internal and external users. This 6‑month contract (with possible extension) is hybrid, requiring 2‑3 days per week onsite in London.

Key responsibilities

• Define end‑to‑end Salesforce solution architecture aligned with business needs, platform strategy, and regulatory constraints.
• Create and maintain high‑level and low‑level design artefacts, data‑model designs, and integration/security models.
• Present architecture proposals to technical and governance forums and review significant design changes.
• Design and build proofs of concept to validate architectural patterns, technical feasibility, and non‑functional requirements.
• Ensure compliance with FCA governance, security, and audit expectations, establishing architectural guardrails and standards.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and delivery teams to make architecture practical and delivery‑focused.
• Provide guidance during complex delivery phases, releases, and remediation activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and building enterprise‑scale Salesforce solutions.
• Proven ability to produce clear, governance‑ready architecture documentation.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex concepts to senior and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in regulated or audit‑heavy environments, preferably financial services.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or demonstrable progress toward CTA.
