SAP Finance Systems Analyst

About the role

London Fire Brigade’s Finance Directorate is seeking a Senior Finance Systems Analyst to support its SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba procurement platforms. The role will be based in Southwark with a hybrid working pattern (2 days onsite) and will report to the Finance Systems Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SAP Ariba Guided Buying and Buying modules, including configuration, template management and master data.
• Lead SAP Ariba release cycles, coordinating user testing, training and documentation updates.
• Provide first‑line support for user queries, resolve tickets and deliver training across all user levels.
• Develop and maintain reporting suites within SAP Ariba and support the rollout of standard reports post‑implementation.
• Collaborate with Procurement, ICT and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Support the Finance Systems Manager in day‑to‑day team coordination and act as deputy when required.
• Identify and drive process improvement initiatives across finance and procurement functions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end procure‑to‑pay (P2P) processes.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba, preferably in a public‑cloud environment.
• Proven ability to manage system administration tasks and deliver user training.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
