SAP Functional Consultant (Project Systems) – up to £90,000 + Bonus – Hybrid

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Consultant specialising in Project Systems (PS) to join a globally recognised organisation delivering SAP S/4HANA Professional Services solutions. The role is hybrid, based in Watford, and involves working across the full project lifecycle to design, configure and optimise project‑based business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into scalable SAP PS solutions.
• Configure Project Definitions, WBS elements, cost planning, budgeting, settlement rules and billing structures.
• Design and support project planning, scheduling, costing and financial management processes.
• Integrate SAP PS with SAP SD, FI/CO, HR and external applications.
• Develop functional specifications, test scenarios and solution documentation.
• Deliver workshops, user training and business demonstrations.
• Provide L2/L3 functional support and identify optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience configuring SAP Project Systems within S/4HANA Professional Services environments.
• Strong understanding of project planning, costing, billing and financial management.
• Experience integrating SAP PS with related modules such as SD, FI/CO and Time Management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
