About the role
The SARC Clinical Lead will provide expert forensic medical examinations and after‑care for sexual assault complainants, overseeing a small clinical team in Bournemouth. The role is permanent, 28 hours per week across two 12‑hour clinical shifts and one home‑based admin day, with an immediate start date pending required vetting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct and document forensic examinations and medical after‑care for sexual assault victims.
- Lead clinical governance, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and quality standards.
- Provide training, teaching and supervision to junior staff and educational supervisors.
Required profile
- Minimum five years’ experience as a Sexual Offence Examiner.
- Proven experience in forensic examination, medical after‑care and clinical governance processes.
- Leadership, management and teaching experience, with strong safeguarding knowledge.
