SC Cleared Azure DevOps Engineer – London/Remote

About the role

We are seeking an advanced, SC‑cleared Azure DevOps Engineer to join a leading government body. The role is based in London with remote flexibility and operates outside IR35. You will be responsible for delivering high‑availability Azure solutions and driving infrastructure‑as‑code practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑availability architectures, including failover and load‑balancing strategies, using Azure templates.
• Develop reusable Terraform and Bicep modules following modular and test‑driven principles.
• Integrate automated security checks with tools such as Checkov and Terratest within CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain and optimise GitHub Actions workflows for complex deployment scenarios.
• Manage Azure networking and security components, including Managed Identities, Private Endpoints, and RBAC.

Required profile

• Active SC security clearance.
• Proven experience as an advanced Azure Engineer with a strong DevOps background.
• Hands‑on expertise in IaC, TDD, and cloud‑native security practices.
