SC‑Cleared Data Engineer – Informatica PowerCentre (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Security‑Clearance (SC) cleared Data Engineer to join a leading organisation on a six‑month contract. The role is fully remote and operates inside IR35, offering a competitive daily rate. You will work within a data‑warehouse environment, delivering high‑quality ETL solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCentre (v10.6 preferred).
• Integrate and transform data from Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance and data quality.
• Write and maintain UNIX/Linux shell scripts to support data processing workflows.
• Collaborate with data architects to implement dimensional models and star‑schema designs.
• Participate in data‑governance initiatives and support data‑quality frameworks.
• Utilise scheduling tools such as Control‑M or Autosys to orchestrate batch jobs.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Informatica PowerCentre.
• Extensive background working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
• Proven experience in data‑warehouse and ETL environments.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining SC clearance.
