Scheduler – Service & Engineer Coordination

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised Scheduler to join our Service Department in Pangbourne. You will be the central point ensuring engineers are deployed to the right sites at the right time, supporting a range of reactive call‑outs, maintenance visits and planned works.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule engineers for reactive call‑outs, preventative maintenance and planned projects, managing diaries to maximise productivity.
• Maintain and update job records in the BigChange system, including permits, access requirements and customer information.
• Work closely with operational teams, project managers and subcontractors to prioritise workloads and meet Service Level Agreements.
• Liaise with the Stock Manager to confirm availability of materials, plant and specialist equipment, and arrange ordering where needed.
• Monitor hired equipment, ensure timely off‑hire and support engineers with the resources required to complete jobs.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and planning abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the BigChange scheduling and job management system.
