School Administrator – Full Time

About the role

Seva Education is seeking a dedicated School Administrator to join its expanding network of schools in St Albans. This full‑time, permanent position provides essential clerical and welfare support, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact, managing reception duties and visitor entry.
• Maintain pupil and staff attendance records and operate the school entry system.
• Handle the main telephone line, inbox, and appointment scheduling.
• Update the public noticeboard, school calendar, and website content.
• Process outgoing mail, perform routine word processing, and manage the confidential Central Record System database.
• Support filing, archiving, and general clerical tasks such as photocopying, printing and laminating.
• Report and follow up on premises and equipment faults.

Required profile

• Willingness to undergo child protection screening, including DBS checks.
• Ability to work under the supervision of the Executive Head Teacher.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
