School Administrator (Reception) – Primary School

About the role
This full‑time position is based in a friendly primary school in Waltham Forest. You will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors and staff, ensuring the school office runs smoothly each day.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome visitors, answer telephone calls and emails.
- Follow safeguarding and visitor procedures.
- Provide a professional reception service.
- Update daily attendance and maintain accurate pupil records.
- Manage healthcare plans and support new pupil admissions.
- Type letters, manage post and respond to routine emails.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a School Administrator in a school setting.
- Confidence using the SIMS management system.
- Strong organisational and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and work as part of a supportive office team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
