School Administrator / Receptionist (Term Time)

About the role
We are looking for a proactive School Administrator/Receptionist to join a school in Longridge on a term‑time basis. You will be the first point of contact for staff, parents and visitors, ensuring the smooth running of the school office.
Key responsibilities
- Answer telephone calls, manage email inboxes and respond to general enquiries.
- Support the school office with a range of administrative duties to keep daily operations efficient.
- Work closely with teachers, staff and parents to facilitate clear communication and information sharing.
- Prepare and distribute attendance reports as required by school leadership.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data security.
- Undertake any additional duties assigned by school management.
Required profile
- Previous experience in an administrative or reception role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Experience with SIMS software is highly desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with staff and parents.
- Self‑motivated and able to manage a varied workload that may change day to day.
