School Bank Nurse (Part‑time)

About the role

Claires Court is seeking qualified, NMC‑registered nurses to work on a bank basis, providing flexible, ad‑hoc support for its school community. You will deliver high‑quality nursing care, first aid and health advice to pupils, staff and visitors, stepping in when full‑time nurses are absent.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based nursing care in line with the NMC Code.
• Deliver first aid and emergency care, including pitch‑side support when required.
• Assess, triage and manage pupils with acute or chronic health conditions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Handle, store and administer medicines safely.
• Keep the health centre stocked and maintain emergency equipment.
• Promote infection control and health education throughout the school.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration and qualified nurse status.
• Strong clinical competence, preferably with school or community experience.
• Organised, calm under pressure and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
