School Catering Assistant – Full‑Time (5 days/week)

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated School Catering Assistant to join our friendly team on a full‑time, five‑day‑a‑week basis. This role is based in a supportive school environment where you will help deliver nutritious meals to pupils and staff while developing your catering career.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and serving of healthy meals.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and safety.
- Support the kitchen team with daily food production and service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and school policies.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and efficient.
- Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff and visitors.
Required profile
- Previous experience in school or commercial catering.
- Relevant degree or qualification is preferred.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work well in a team.
- Strong communication skills.
