About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic School Chef Manager to lead the kitchen team at Lawn Manor Academy. You will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for pupils, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety throughout the school term.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support kitchen staff in daily operations.
• Plan, prepare and serve balanced meals that meet dietary requirements and allergy guidelines.
• Manage stock levels, ordering, and budgeting for the catering service.
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with school staff to coordinate meal schedules and special events.

Required profile

• Organised, reliable and able to work in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong commitment to high‑quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Experience in catering for schools or similar institutions.
• Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
