School Estates Manager – Lead Facilities Operations

About the role
The school is seeking an Estates Manager to lead and coordinate all estate functions, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and compliance with health and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive estate management strategy, working with internal teams and external contractors.
- Lead capital and refurbishment projects across buildings, grounds and facilities.
- Manage supplier agreements, service level contracts and monitor expenditure against budget.
- Maintain site security and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee asset life‑cycle reporting and regulatory standards.
- Guide and support a small support staff to deliver high‑quality operational performance.
Required profile
- Proven experience in estates or facilities management within a complex environment; experience in the education sector is advantageous.
- Professional qualification in estate management or a related field.
- Strong project‑management and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
