School Finance Assistant – Temporary

About the role
Our client, a long‑established school in Tonbridge, is seeking a School Finance Assistant on a temporary basis. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will support the day‑to‑day financial operations of the school and gain exposure to budgeting and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full invoicing cycle, including invoice creation, payment processing and journal entries.
- Perform monthly bank account reconciliations.
- Assist with budget management, month‑end closing and ad‑hoc financial reporting.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
Required profile
- Experience using PS Financials is essential.
- Part‑ or fully‑qualified AAT with previous experience in an education setting.
- Immediate availability and willingness to learn under the finance team.
- Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
