About the role
My client is a school based in West London seeking a Finance Manager for a short‑term temporary assignment covering a period of sickness. Working closely with the Headteacher and Head of Finance, the role focuses on managing the school’s income and expenditure and delivering insightful reporting and analysis for the senior leadership team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the school’s income and expenditure.
- Produce financial reports and analysis for the senior leadership team.
- Set, monitor and control budgets.
- Prepare forecasts and management accounts.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Required profile
- Experienced finance professional, formally qualified or studying CIMA, ACCA or AAT.
- Previous experience operating at a similar level within schools or the education sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and control budgets.
- Strong IT and reporting experience.
- Essential experience in the education sector.
