About the role
This part‑time, term‑time position supports the school’s catering team by preparing and serving nutritious meals to pupils. You will work on‑site in various Edinburgh schools, typically Monday to Thursday mornings.
Key responsibilities
- Help prepare and serve tasty, nutritious school meals.
- Provide friendly, helpful service to pupils and staff.
- Keep kitchen and dining areas clean and safe.
- Work in a supportive and welcoming team.
Required profile
- Approachable, dependable and a team player.
- Basic food hygiene knowledge (helpful but not essential).
- Able to stay calm and organised during busy periods.
