School Nurse – Full-Time (5 Days per Week)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate School Nurse to join a welcoming school in Croydon on a full‑time, five‑day‑per‑week basis. The role offers a supportive environment where staff are valued and professional development is encouraged.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care and first aid to pupils and staff.
• Assess, manage, and respond to medical needs and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate medical records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Administer medications and support pupils with ongoing health conditions.
• Promote health and wellbeing across the school community.
• Liaise with parents, healthcare professionals, and school staff to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and relevant clinical guidelines.

Required profile

• Previous experience working as a School Nurse (essential).
• Registered Nurse qualification (NMC registered).
• A relevant degree is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
