School Nurse – Full‑time (5 days/week) – Croydon

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate School Nurse to join a welcoming school in Croydon on a full‑time, five‑day‑per‑week basis. You will play a vital part in safeguarding pupils' health, providing high‑quality nursing care and supporting the wider school community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑aid and nursing care to pupils and staff.
• Assess, manage and respond to medical emergencies and ongoing health needs.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records.
• Administer prescribed medication and support pupils with chronic conditions.
• Promote health and wellbeing initiatives across the school.
• Liaise with parents, healthcare professionals and school staff to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health‑and‑safety and clinical guidelines.

Required profile

• Previous experience working as a School Nurse (essential).
• Registered Nurse qualification (NMC registered).
• A relevant degree is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
