School Science Technician – Full‑Time (Lambeth)

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Science Technician to join a supportive secondary school in Lambeth on a full‑time basis. You will work closely with the Science Department to ensure practical lessons run smoothly and safely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for science lessons.
- Maintain, calibrate and repair scientific apparatus.
- Support teachers in delivering engaging, hands‑on experiments.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met in the science labs.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of consumables.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a School Science Technician.
- Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and laboratory procedures.
- Relevant degree preferred.
- Organised, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
