School Site Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced School Site Supervisor to join one of our partner schools in Longridge. The role involves ensuring the safety, security and smooth operation of the school premises on a flexible, temporary basis.

Key responsibilities

• Secure the school buildings each day and perform opening/closing duties according to the shift pattern.
• Carry out routine security checks and monitor premises for safety hazards.
• Conduct general maintenance inspections, including cleaning, minor repairs and DIY tasks.
• Assist with the setup and tidy‑up of school events and activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the site.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a site supervisor, caretaker or similar role in an educational setting.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliability, punctuality and a clear DBS clearance.

Required skills

• Basic DIY and maintenance skills.
• Handyperson or trades experience.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
