Science Teacher – Full‑Time, Long‑Term (Cambridge)

About the role

Reed Education is partnering with a Good‑rated secondary school in Cambridgeshire to hire a Science Teacher for a full‑time, long‑term placement starting September 2026. The school offers a supportive environment focused on academic achievement, student wellbeing and staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Science lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
• Foster an inclusive classroom that supports all learners.
• Contribute to the wider success of the Science department and school community.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
• Passion for high‑quality teaching and student attainment.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Subject knowledge in secondary Science.
