Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4) – Full‑time

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Science teacher to join a secondary school in Leicestershire. The role is full‑time, covering Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a start date in August and the possibility of temporary to permanent progression.
Key responsibilities
- Teach Science to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Mark assignments and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment that supports personal and academic development.
Required profile
- UK QTS or QTLS qualification.
- Relevant teaching experience at KS3/KS4 (KS5 experience beneficial).
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Required skills
- Detailed knowledge of the Science curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
