About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in East London. The role starts in September 2026 and offers a long‑term, full‑time position within a high‑performing Science department.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and departmental planning.
• Utilise modern, fully equipped laboratories to enhance practical learning.
• Contribute to the school’s inclusive and diverse community.

Required profile

• Qualified Science Teacher with QTS or QTLS.
• Strong subject knowledge across any Science specialism.
• Ability to inspire, stretch and challenge learners.
• Effective classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Open to both experienced teachers and high‑quality early career teachers.
