Science Teacher – Secondary School (Leeds)

About the role

We are seeking an inspiring Science teacher to join a reputable secondary school in Leeds from September 2026. The role involves delivering engaging Science lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4 and fostering a curiosity for scientific inquiry.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that encourages investigation and critical thinking.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, and enrichment programmes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Science or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Science at secondary level in the UK.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
• Specialism in Chemistry, Biology, or Physics is advantageous.
