About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for a qualified Science Teacher to deliver high‑quality lessons across a range of secondary schools in North London. This full‑time, temporary position offers the chance to inspire pupils at GCSE level and support their academic progress in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that meet the current UK curriculum.
- Motivate and challenge students to achieve excellent outcomes, particularly at GCSE.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain high academic expectations.
- Provide tailored support for pupils with SEN, behavioural or academic needs.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and promote student welfare.
Required profile
- Proven track record of strong pupil outcomes in Science, especially GCSE.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Dynamic, ambitious practitioner committed to student progress.
- Experience supporting a diverse range of pupil needs.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
