Science Technician – Secondary School (Ealing)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Science Technician to support the delivery of science lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5 in a vibrant mixed secondary school in Ealing. You will work closely with teaching staff to ensure practical sessions run smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing and setting up practical science lessons.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment under the direction of the Senior Science Technician.
• Ensure the science lab complies with health and safety standards.
• Clean and tidy the laboratory after sessions.
• Provide occasional support to pupils during lessons.

Required profile

• Relevant science background.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Understanding of health and safety practices in a laboratory environment.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.
• Hard‑working and passionate about supporting young learners.
