Scrub Nurse – Ophthalmology (Full‑time)

About the role

Join the busy Ophthalmology Theatre Team at The Lodge, The Yorkshire Clinic in Bingley as a Scrub Nurse. You will provide high‑quality, planned care for patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures and support the surgical team throughout each case.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver scrub support for ophthalmology clinical procedures.
• Assist in the organisation and management of patient care within the department.
• Contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives and evidence‑based practice.
• Support the delivery of patient care and uphold patient dignity, privacy and wishes.

Required profile

• Registered with the NMC or HCPC.
• Relevant nursing qualification (RGN) or ODP.
• Good communication skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Scrub experience for clinical procedures.
• Knowledge of ophthalmology procedures (training will be provided if needed).
• Registration with NMC/HCPC.
