About the role
Freightserve is seeking an Import Seafreight Operator to join its busy, well‑established freight forwarding team in Feltham. You will be responsible for coordinating import sea freight shipments, ensuring all documentation and customs requirements are met while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate import seafreight shipments against strict deadlines, handling end‑to‑end processes.
- Book seafreight and process relevant documentation, including Bills of Lading.
- Prepare customs entries and manage both FCL and LCL shipments.
- Provide quotations, invoice clients and manage key accounts.
- Liaise effectively with customers, handling multiple shipments simultaneously and communicating via email and telephone.
Required profile
- Proven experience in import ocean freight operations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Computer literate and highly organised with a systematic, detail‑oriented approach.
