Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operative

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Gosport. The role involves maintaining the estate’s outdoor areas throughout the seasonal period, ensuring they are safe, tidy and presentable.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a range of grounds‑keeping machinery, including brush cutters and hedge cutters.
- Perform routine mowing, trimming, and landscaping tasks across the site.
- Carry out practical estate management duties such as waste removal and basic repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while working on site.
Required profile
- Valid driving licence.
- Experience operating machinery in an outdoor or estate setting.
- Ability to work full‑time on a seasonal, temporary basis.
Required skills
- Machinery operation.
- Brush cutter operation (PA1/6 – CS30 licence preferred).
- Hedge cutter operation (licence preferred).
- Basic estate management.
