Seasonal Part-Time Store Colleague

About the role

A seasonal, part-time Sales Assistant position in a store in Colliers Wood (SW19 2TY). You will help deliver an outstanding customer experience during one of the busiest periods of the year, supporting the day-to-day running of the store while developing new skills and gaining retail experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a positive, welcoming experience for customers, giving support and product information where needed
• Support store and team objectives through good customer service and product knowledge
• Replenish stock so products are available and presented in line with company standards
• Maintain presentation standards across the shop floor, keeping fixtures, displays and stock areas clean and organised
• Complete operational tasks such as processing transactions, stock handling and preparing deliveries
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily operations
• Follow company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements
• Work with colleagues to run the store effectively and help with extra duties during peak trading periods

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and in a fast-paced retail environment
• Retail experience is advantageous but not essential
• Positive, customer-focused approach and willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and availability during the festive period (Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day where required)
