Secondary Daily Supply / General Cover Teacher in Ealing

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable supply teachers to provide daily cover across a variety of primary and secondary schools in the London Borough of Ealing. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose the days that suit your schedule while gaining experience in different school environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons and cover work set by the class teacher.
• Maintain a calm, structured, and positive classroom environment.
• Manage pupil behaviour in line with each school's policies.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings, routines, and year groups.
• Support pupils' learning and wellbeing throughout the school day.
• Liaise professionally with school staff and leadership on arrival.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school‑specific policies at all times.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in a primary or secondary setting.
• Confidence managing behaviour and building rapport quickly in unfamiliar classrooms.
• Flexible, reliable, and adaptable across different schools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
