About the role
We are looking for a passionate secondary Mathematics teacher to join a supportive PRU in Greenwich for three days a week starting September. The role is part‑time and temporary, offering the chance to deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4 (potential KS5).
- Monitor and record student progress, mark work and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the Maths department to support curriculum development.
Required profile
- A degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher status.
- Experience teaching the UK secondary Mathematics curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to commute to Greenwich.
Required skills
- Strong classroom management.
- Effective communication of complex mathematical concepts.
