Secondary School Teacher – Flexible Supply Roles in Blackpool

About the role

Hays Education is seeking qualified secondary teachers to provide flexible supply, short‑term cover or long‑term teaching assignments across Blackpool and surrounding areas. You will join a network of schools and academies, delivering lessons to students in a variety of subjects and key stages.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
• Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behaviour effectively.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with school staff to support whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the United Kingdom.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school environment.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Passion for supporting student achievement.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
