About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting Early‑Career Teachers (ECT) and experienced secondary teachers for a range of KS3, KS4 and KS5 positions across Newham. The posts start in September 2026 and are offered on a full‑time, temporary‑to‑permanent basis.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stages 3‑5.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop departmental strategies.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.
Required profile
- Passion for your subject area and a commitment to student success.
- Ability to manage behaviour effectively.
- For ECTs: desire for a supportive school that mentors new teachers.
- For experienced teachers: willingness to guide and develop a growing department.
