About the role
We are partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Blackpool to recruit Teaching Assistants starting September 2026. The role offers the chance to support pupils both in the classroom and beyond, working closely with teachers to improve attainment and engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for students.
- Assist teaching staff in delivering lessons and raising attainment.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEMH and SEND.
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with students and staff across the school.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with young people (school experience desirable but not essential).
- Confidence in supporting students with varied learning needs and abilities.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Enthusiastic, resilient, adaptable and passionate about helping young people achieve their potential.
