About the role
Join a network of secondary schools in Chichester and Worthing as a supply teacher. You will step into classrooms on short notice, deliver pre‑planned lessons and help maintain a positive learning environment while the regular teacher is absent.
Key responsibilities
- Enter a variety of secondary classrooms and follow existing lesson plans.
- Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned instruction to students.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a supportive atmosphere.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and timetables.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (desirable).
- Experience teaching in secondary education.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Flexible, proactive attitude.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
