Secondary Supply Teacher – Liverpool

About the role
Milk Education is looking for enthusiastic secondary supply teachers to deliver engaging lessons across schools in Liverpool. You will support pupils of varying abilities, maintain a calm learning environment, and ensure continuity of learning in your subject area.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons across KS3–KS5 (or within your subject specialism).
- Create and maintain a positive, structured learning environment.
- Support pupils’ academic progress and engagement.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
- Provide feedback on pupil progress where required.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Proactive and professional attitude with a commitment to inclusive education.
- Ability to provide two recent references.
