Secondary Teacher (Key Stages 3‑5) – Cambridge

About the role

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic secondary teachers for a permanent, full‑time position in Cambridge. You will deliver high‑quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, helping students achieve their GCSE and A‑Level targets while fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stages 3‑5.
• Analyse student data, identify gaps and implement targeted interventions.
• Guide pupils through GCSE/A‑Level specifications, focusing on exam technique.
• Maintain a respectful classroom culture using the school’s behaviour framework.
• Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the social, emotional and academic wellbeing of a student group.
• Contribute to departmental schemes of work and share best practices with colleagues.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE.
• Experience working with SEN and EAL learners.
• Strong subject knowledge aligned with current exam boards.
• Ability to adapt complex material for a range of abilities.
• Commitment to closing the attainment gap and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Classroom.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with interactive whiteboards.
• Knowledge of school management systems such as SIMS or Bromcom.

• Competitive salary between £28,000 and £39,000 per year.
