Secondary Teacher – Subject Specialist (Warrington)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic secondary teachers to join a network of thriving high schools across Warrington. The role involves delivering subject‑specific lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils, preparing them for GCSE examinations and supporting their overall academic progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured, high‑impact lessons across your specialist subject.
• Break down complex concepts into clear, accessible steps for all ability levels.
• Prepare students thoroughly for upcoming GCSE assessments.
• Maintain a focused, positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Mark classwork regularly and provide constructive feedback to track pupil progress.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) with a specialist degree in the relevant subject.
• Strong knowledge of the UK secondary national curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Early‑career teachers (ECTs) are welcome.
