About the role
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to join a successful secondary school in Haringey. You will work closely with teaching staff to help students overcome learning barriers, fostering independence and confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils during KS3 and KS4 lessons.
- Provide one‑to‑one assistance to students needing extra help.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
- Assist teachers with classroom preparation.
- Support intervention programmes in literacy and numeracy.
Required profile
- Experience supporting young people.
- Calm, patient and approachable manner.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Passion for making a difference in education.
- Right to work in the UK.
